Just Lenny Kravitz is on his “Raise Vibration” Tour. For three days the musicians in Germany and takes between two concerts, the time for a trip to the Hessian Wetzlar to open its second photo exhibition “Drifter”.
The photos are snapshots of Lenny Kravitz’ many travels. Mostly, they are people captured in any Situation: follows a woman Smoking on the Bus, a Drag Queen in a Paris hotel room, a child playing in the water. Everything in a black-and-white look, for the the Leica M Monochrom camera, which he used has acquired, under photo friends and photographers cult status.

Kravitz’ first camera, the Leica Flex of his father. Seymour Kravitz himself was a passionate photographer, documented, among other things, the Vietnam war. His son, he gave his camera when he was 21 years old. Thus, Lenny Kravitz discovered his love for photography. “I played earlier with the Leica camera of my father, but had no idea how to use them. Back and take a picture
The idea to make his Hobby even more, came out spontaneously, as he whipped out one day on a Red carpet to his camera and photographed. Great photos came out so that Lenny Kravitz 2015 entered with a picture book and his first exhibition “Flash” of artistic territory.
Among Kravitz’s great role models, Mark Seliger, one of the most important American portrait artist, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who is also the Director of music videos for David Bowie, Madonna, or Sting known.
Lenny Kravitz, will be in a few days 55, describes himself as a “Drifter”, as a drifter. “I’ll stay in any place long,” he said, he may it easy to be on the go. A Successful Rock Star
For the past 30 years, Lenny Kravitz is a singer and multi-instrument meta-list successfully. He has sold worldwide, more than 23 million records. His greatest Hits Fly Away”, “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” or “Are You Gonna Go My Way “are”.
In September 2015, he released his eleventh Studio album “Raise Vibration”, in which he takes up in several Songs-political position, acts of war, human rights violations and environmental destruction in denouncing.
