Fayulu spoke of electoral fraud, the influential Catholic Church gave him the right. In Brussels, the opposition has advised Alliance now on how to proceed. The members have declared their willingness to maintain the Alliance. In the final Declaration, there is no talk of which is the urns, the “truth of choice” – the motto that Martin Fayulu own. DW spoke with him in Brussels.

DW: Martin Fayulu, they declared their electoral victory, they have staged as a “soldier of the people” and demanded that the ‘truth of the ballot boxes’ on the table. You are now – two months after Félix Tshisekedi was sworn in as President – still in this position?

Martin Fayulu, If we want urns to the truth of the election, it means that we claim the victory of the people. It is the victory of a nation that is Sovereign, that went to the elections, to choose its political leaders, and ran up against a wall – consisting of (the President, NB sheath. d. Red.) Mr Kabila and the election Commission. They have produced the result that was then confirmed by the constitutional court. Therefore, we can not be tired, this victory of the Congolese people.

The result of the election Commission, Félix Tshisekedi made to the election winner and new President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You self-declare yourself to be the elected President. With what strategy you want to make sure the account?

The strategy is that we affirm the unity of the Lamuka coalition – the coalition, for which I competed as a presidential candidate am. We have done that at the conclusion of this three-day meeting. In addition, we want to develop from an electoral coalition to a political platform.

Congo’s constitutional court had rejected an appeal Fayulus against the election results

What’s the next big projects of Lamuka are – and what role will you play?

First of all, it comes to this Meeting, we define the Structural of Lamuka new, and my place in it will always be that I am the elected President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and that no one can take me. So, I’m the leader of Lamuka. Together with the other political leaders of the platform, I am Convinced that we will win, with United forces, and that the Congolese people have to experience in our unit, the long-awaited change.

Your Europe tour comes to an end. What is your assessment?

All over the March 30 elections. December complained. Now all complain about the results of this election, have led to a Situation in which we have to do it in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with the institutions which are not legitimate.

Moise Katumbi, who has been in the Lamuka coalition behind their candidacy, has called the election Commission confirmed President Félix Tshisekedi a brother. If Tshisekedi received today on Laumka – it is conceivable that he gets to be a gesture of Lamuka?

As Katumbi also, I’ve said it always: Yes, Félix Tshisekedi is a brother, but he did get his answer already. I think it’s Pierre Lumbi, the Vice-President of Moise Katumbis movement “Ensemble” who said: If you get passed a dirty Hand, you you. It is the dirty Hand, which we did not take. If this Hand is clean, we take them.

You will have to call Lamuka today as a political coalition. This coalition is already represented by deputies in the Parliament. Now, there has been some turbulence, and the results of the Senate elections have been challenged. What is your position on these recent developments?

The entire process was marred by irregularities and fraud. So, we can reveal just fraud. There has been fraud, and this is why we say that the truth of the ballot boxes is used. And look at all the elections: the Provincial assemblies and the national Parliament, the presidential and the Senate elections.

Even if it would mean to cancel the elections?

Yes, this can also mean new elections.

Also, the presidential elections – would you be ready?

Yes, even the presidential elections.
