With the “quality of land” created by the writer and cabaret artist Marc-Uwe Kling is a dystopia about digitization. Now the American broadcaster HBO will make a movie of the book. His breakthrough Kling owes, meanwhile, is a marsupial.
The screenwriter and Director Mike Judge, according to media, the development of the series of reports to answer to. Judge created the animated series “King of the Hill”, the Comedy series “Silicon Valley” and the anarchic cartoon Duo “Beavis and Butt-Head” engine in the 1990s on MTV on the loose. The book is published in a bright and a dark Edition, which differ by the text between the chapters of each other. The black edition had the white in sales far behind.
Discussions with a kangaroo
1982 in Stuttgart-born Marc-Uwe Kling is the author of the podcast “Neues vom Känguru”, the delivery at the RBB radio Fritz, and in 2010, the German radio prize. From these stories about the marsupial 2009 Klings breakthrough was the result: His book “The kangaroo Chronicles” was the prelude to a novel series with “the kangaroo Manifest” and the “kangaroo-revelation” in the meantime, as a kangaroo trilogy known. 2018 appeared also “The kangaroo Apocrypha”, but more of a compilation than a sequel.
In the “kangaroo Chronicles” pulls in a Communist kangaroo unasked in Kling, in the result, both of them discuss about political systems and issues of faith, especially for this company critical dialogues received the book good reviews. In the second part, the “Manifesto” describes Kling in the episodes the rise of a right-wing populist party.
Klings books were for months on the bestseller lists, the kangaroo-audiobooks to keep there for years: Currently, the already 2012 as audiobook published “kangaroo Chronicles” on place 5, which last year published “apocryphal” on place 3 of the audiobook charts. In 2013, Kling won the German audio book.
“Quality country” is not, by the way Kling’s first book, which will be implemented on film: 2020, the film version of “the kangaroo Chronicles” by Dani Levy movie.
