Australian Open: defending champion Wozniacki is out

Caroline Wozniacki needs to bury the dream of a title defence at the Australian Open. She loses against another Ex-champion, from Melbourne. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, however, not show any weakness.

Defending champion Caroline Wozniacki has failed at the Australian Open of tennis professionals to Ex-champion Maria Sharapova. The Dane lost in the third round of the duel of the former world ranked First in three sets with 4:6, 6:4, 3:6. Wozniacki had won last year in Melbourne after a long wait, her first Grand Slam tournament.

Federer and Nadal victories smooth
