Of external consultants to decide on the future Nobel laureate in literature, and help to secure the future of the crisis-hit Swedish Academy.
Two writers, two Literary critics and Translators are members of a Committee, the five members of the Swedish Academy complete. The Board will decide on the winner of the literature Nobel prices in 2019 and 2020, as well as of the class of 2018, as the Academy on Monday (19. November) announced.
This year’s awarding of the Nobel prize for literature had been cancelled, after a year ago, 18 women, the Frenchman Jean-Claude Arnault, husband of the former Academy member Katarina Frostenson, sexual harassment had been accused of. The Academy confirmed in the episode “unacceptable behavior in the Form of unwanted intimacy”. Arnault was convicted in June of 2018 for the rape. In addition, the Pair is leaking a private cultural Association funds, and the names of Nobel prize winners in advance have passed.

Split Academy
Within the Academy, a fierce dispute over the handling of the allegations was begun, a total of eight members had to leave the Academy since then, or put down your work.
With the appointment of the external consultant, the Academy is equivalent to a demand of the Nobel Foundation. The group of advisers on the writer, Gun-Britt Sundström and Kristoffer Leandoer, the Literary critics Rebecka Kärde and Mikaela Blomqvist, as well as the critic and Translator of Henrik Petersen. The exact sequence seems, however, not yet identified: “as far as I know, let’s go over the names of the nominees and discuss it. But I don’t know exactly how it is run,” said Rebecka Kärde.
