German tourism industry launches Initiative against xenophobia

At the conference “German tourism day in 2018” in Bonn, the German tourism industry is positioning itself with a new Initiative against xenophobia in the country.

The industry was “a strong value of community” and “for a peaceful Coexistence and international understanding,” said the Vice-President of the German tourism Association (DTV), Peter Siemering, on Thursday for the opening of the Tourism day in Bonn. “Tourism and xenophobia, close,” he added. The tourism connect people – “no matter which origin, Religion or belief, or sexual orientation,” said Siemering. Core values of tourism in Germany, the world’s openness, diversity and tolerance.

The German tourism day is the biggest conference for the players in the Germany tourism. The DTV around a hundred local, regional and national tourism organisations, of which the new Initiative is intended to be worn in Public.
