Over the years, the best Golf players in the world win in Atlanta after five years, a PGA tournament. So a Comeback is no longer doubted Tiger Woods many. He, too, had doubts.

In the 2000s, because this picture was a matter of course. Tiger Woods finished a tournament with a safe and secure Put, throws the arms in the height, accompanied Laugh ends of a beam to brace a little later with the winner’s trophy in the sky. 15 months later and the Comeback. Woods celebrated on Sunday (local time) in Atlanta (U.S. state of Georgia) for his first tournament victory in more than five years on the American PGA Tour. The U.S. Golfer had to pause during the final round, even briefly, when he was overcome by emotions. Woods, the nine-million US-Dollar (7.65 million Euro) doped Tour Championship, having won a total of 269 strokes, and thus, eleven strokes under the course standard. “I can’t believe I did it,” said the 42-Year-old after his success. To be “just in the competition, and to play again this year is an insane Comeback”.

After two back surgeries within six weeks of the 14-times Major winner, neither pain could be free to go or stand. A return to the Tour seemed a distant prospect. Now, however, Woods was left with a Three-shot lead into the final round on the Par-70 course at East Lake Golf Club. A rather average ‘ 71-final round and ended the tournament win.

“It was a slog out there,” said Woods after his 80. Tournament success on the PGA Tour. “I loved every moment of it”.

The second place at the fourth and last tournament of this year’s FedEx Cup Playoffs, went to Billy Horschel (271 hits), followed by Dustin Johnson (273 hits). The Englishman Justin Rose, who finished the tournament with 274 strokes on the shared fourth place, secured the prize money of 10 million US dollars (8.5 million euros) for the Triumph in the FedEx Cup standings.
