Three days before the start of the Munich Oktoberfest on Saturday (22.09. – 07.10.) Lufthansa sends their Crew in Bavarian traditional costume on the trip. And on Board there is beer by the barrel!
The first costumes flight starts on the 19. September to New York, there are more flights to various European cities, as well as to Singapore and Shanghai as the airline has announced to follow.

For the first time in a long time, it is also – as in the 1960s – fresh draught of beer on Board. Benefit only the Business Class, but guests. For this purpose, a flight-capable special had been selected barrel, wherein the carbon dioxide pressure through a valve is regulated. So a positive Pressure will prevent on-Board, and the pin was in an altitude of 10,000 meters.
