Sagan grid for the third stage victory

After the Alps-From the Sprint-Elite Peter Sagan wins the 13. Stage of the Tour de France to Valence. The Slovak cemented so that the balance of power among the remaining fast drivers in the field.

Sagan the German Team Bora-hansgrohe directed at the embattled arrival of 169,5 km long stretch of the Norwegian Alexander Kristoff (UAE Emirates Team) and the French cyclist Arnaud Demare (Groupama-FDJ) on the courts. John Degenkolb (Gera/Trek-Segafredo), winner of the 9. Stage to Roubaix, was Fourth.

Sagan continued with his new Triumph, the already comfortable lead in the points standings. The sixth win of the Green Jersey is for him to take.

   

  

In the Yellow Jersey Geraint Thomas continues. The Briton, nominally the number two in the Sky Team of defending champion Chris Froome, had to wins after two hard-fought Stage comparatively little energy for another day in the Maillot jaune to invest. He leads in the overall standings, with 1:39 minutes ahead of Froome.

Sprint machine on the last meters

On the final kilometers Degenkolbs Trek Team has built up a sprint train for the German, who completed the assist, but his second stage victory. Instead, Sagan moved with an energy power in the last meters still to Kristoff and Demare in the past. “It was perhaps a bit late. I’ve been trying to get me to the front and stay at Kristoff’s rear wheel. I’m glad it worked out,” he said.

In the final print, some of the Top drivers no longer accessible. The German stage of the jäger Marcel Kittel and Andre Greipel, but also Ex-world champion Mark Cavendish and two-time stage winner Fernando Gaviria and Dylan Groenewegen had finished their Tour participation in the Alps involuntarily. Sagan had reached on Thursday night, while target and time limit, was afraid then, but “Chaos” in the remainder of the mass arrivals. “Now everyone mitspringen want,” he had said. The Chaos remained but, he had his third stage victory.
