Visions of the future and utopias at the Ruhrtriennale in 2017

Director Johan Simons returns this year with his farewell. He sees the humanistic, enlightened view of the world pain full out of the question. Art is Central to time feel issues and also to develop a vision for the future.

August comes, the music theatre piece “No light” by the French composer Philippe Manoury, with a Text by the Austrian Nobel prize winner Elfriede Jelinek on the stage.
