The German Country singer Gunter Gabriel died in consequence of a fall. He was 75 years old. One of the most successful Songs from the “German Johnny Cash”, “Hey Boss, I need more money”.

Born Gunter Gabriel Günter Caspelherr 1942 in Westphalia. His stage name Gabriel, in reference to his girlfriend, Gabriele, to put it however, after one of his first appearances. He grew up in post-war Germany, without a mother. She died after an abortion, when he was four years old. He survived, began training as a locksmith and eventually discovered the Rock’n’Roll. Breakthrough in the 1970s with a German Country
