Ana Brnabić is the first Prime Minister in the history of Serbia. She is young, cool and openly gay. This is in the Balkan country, a Sensation. But the puppet master still remains – Aleksandar Vučić.

This also means a balancing act between the EU, the Balkan country has been negotiating for the end of 2015, about a candidate, and the traditionally good relations with Russia. “We understand the EU as a serious Partner, and not as a gold mine, should we get a hold of higher salaries, pensions, better jobs and less unemployment. It’s not coming from the EU to come from us,” said the designated Prime Ministers Ana Brnabić in the DW-Interview. “We know that the EU is busy with its own problems, and there are not a few. But this will not affect the determination of Serbia to the EU way to go.”
