To the International Museum day numerous exhibition houses in Germany special events. The museums give an insight into their work and to show exhibits that would otherwise remain hidden.

More than 1,600 museums across Germany on Sunday, 21. May to particular actions. Overall, to be offered on the International Museum day, more than 4,000 special tours, Workshops, actions and presentations. Visitors can take a look behind the Scenes and the work of the museums to get to know – often with free admission.

Also serious issues to tackle
