A Slovak company has Wednesday, the first flying car unveiled which should come on the market. The flying car may be on the way up to 160 kilometers per hour and must be in the air about 200 kilometers per hour.

The Slovak AeroMobil 3.0 is now still a prototype, but the company is truly on the market. The prototype runs and flies with the same Rotax 912 engine. To ascend, the car needs to accelerate to 130 kilometers per hour. If auto is the AaroMobil 6×2,4m wide, as the plane is 6×8,3m, due to the span of the wings. There fit two people in. The car itself consumes eight litres per 100km, and is thus, 1, 12.5. In the air, consumption 15 litres per hour, but it is not clear at what speed this is. It is clear, however, that the maximum distance at departure with a full tank on the road 875 km, while flying 700 kilometers.

The company claims that it is close to approval by the Slovak government to get on the road and in the air. How it is in other countries, is unknown. It is obvious that motorists have a pilot’s license should have to the air in may, but about exactly how that is, the company has not yet intervened. Refueling enables users to regular stations, because there is regular gas in.

AeroMobil is not a new idea: the designer, Stefan Klein, has been playing almost 25 years with the idea and already has several prototypes built. When the flying car comes to market, and what it should cost, is still unknown.
