Samsung has developed technology for the fabrication of flexible batteries. These are primarily intended for use in wearables, such as smartwatch. Also LG showed new batteries, mainly for electric cars.

The new battery technology is demonstrated at the InterBattery congress, in Seoul, reports The Korea Times. Samsung SDI, the to merge of the company, demonstrated batteries that are rolled-up, something that especially should bring the solution in devices that have a lot of flexibility require, such as smartwatch.
