Browserbouwer Opera has a variant of its Mini-browser released for the Gear S, the upcoming smartwatch from Samsung with Tizen and the ability to function without a phone. The browser is adjusted on the 2″screen of the watch.
The browser is based on Opera Mini 7.5. The Norwegian browserbouwer seems little adapted to the smartwatch: it is a regular version of Opera Mini for Tizen. Opera creates Mini browser for phones with both large and small screens, and the application turned so before on phones with screens that are about the same size as the 2″screen of the Gear S.
It is a version of Opera Mini for touch screens, with big icons for favorites and Opera’s usual technology to reduce them on its own servers to sheds and images to compress.
Samsung brings the Gear S sometime this autumn. The smartwatch runs on Tizen and has a curved amoled screen. By the sim card slot can the smartwatch connect yourself to the internet and functioning without a phone to sync with.
