Motorola gives most smartphones update to Android Lollipop

Motorola has indicated that it is the most recent smartphones in its product portfolio, an update will be to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It involves, among others, the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E. A release date is not yet known.

The plans for software updates by Motorola stated on its website, at the same time with the announcement of Google’s new Nexus smartphone and tablet which is also Android 5.0 Lollipop running. From the plans it is clear that Motorola all of its recent smartphones an update to the new Android version.

It pertains to the Moto X and Moto G; both the version from 2013 as 2014 gets an update to Android Lollipop. Also the cheaper device Moto E is not skipped. Furthermore, recent Us Droid devices available on the latest version of Googles mobile operating system.

Previously announced LG that the G2 and G3 Android L is going to provide. Both LG if Motorola have however still no date announced when the rollout of the new software start.
