Asus is coming with a successor to the MeMO Pad 10 tablet

Asus brings a successor to its MeMO Pad 10-tablet of last year. The tablet is slightly smaller, but the screen is just as big remained. In addition, Asus has the Rockchip-soc from the tablet of last year, exchanged it for one from Qualcomm.

The tablet is still called MeMO Pad 10, but now has as the model number ME103K, and still has a 10.1″-ips-lcd with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Inside, there is something changed. Asus has the Rockchip RK101-soc swapped for a Qualcomm S4 Pro processor with four cores at 1.5 GHz, assisted by a memory the size of 1GB.

Asus claims a battery life of ten hours by a 5070mAh battery in the device. The Android tablet has 16GB on board storage with the option to expand via a micro-sd card of up to 64GB. The tablet is 25,6×17,4cm wide and 9.9 mm thick, which he is slightly thinner than its predecessor.

The tablet comes in november in the Netherlands and will cost at release 199 euro, just like its predecessor. Which is on sale now for around the 170 euro.
