Samsung has a curved 27″monitor announced. The S27D590C delivers a full-hd resolution and offers with its curved design, according to Samsung a better ‘entertainment experience’. The manufacturer also has the UD970 monitor announced, a 31,5″monitor with an uhd resolution.
The va-panel of the S27D590C offers a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and has a regular 16:9 aspect ratio. The response time is, according to Samsung 4ms, while the brightness is rated at 350cd/m2. The contrast ratio would be 3000:1.
The curved design promises, according to Samsung, with its ‘3d effect’ a ‘enhanced entertainment experience’. The monitor has a game mode which according to the manufacturer blurred images are corrected and the color reproduction is improved. Furthermore, it contains the monitor, two 5W speakers. What connections the monitor has reported Samsung not. In the united states, to the monitor around $ 450, the equivalent of some 350 euros.
Samsung also has a new monitor for the professional market, announced: the UD970 with a beelddiameter of 31.5″. The monitor provides the 4k resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The user can choose from eight different color modes, in which two color modes in the “dual color mode” next to each other can be. The monitor offers a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The Samsung UD970 monitor is from October available with a suggested retail price of 2199 euro.
