Microsoft has on its Weibo account, the suspected logo of Windows 9. The post has now been removed again. The design of a logo similar to the current Windows 8 logo. Update, 14:21: it comes to an already existing illustration.
The Chinese site CNBeta noticed the logo placement. It was on the Weibo account of Microsoft China, but the software giant has now removed. The text in the logo spoke also about ‘Windows 9’, a name that Microsoft until now has not confirmed.
The logo shows the number 9 in perspective, is made of square white fields on a blue background. The logo of Windows 8 has four planes in approximately the same perspective. Thus, the logo within the style of Microsoft.
It is rumored already that Microsoft’s next version of Windows late this month or early next month wants to present. After the presentation would be ‘Windows 9’, in the rumors often referred to as Threshold, the next spring should come out. In the new Windows, it would be the start menu back, with live tiles, there would be a notificatiecentrum and Microsoft would get a lot of attention for desktop users with the removal of the start screen with live tiles, removal of the Charms bar and the change of the taskbar.
Update, 14:21: The render of the ‘logo’ appears at various places for months to use as illustration for articles about Windows 9, such as in this article on The Techno Tribe. That makes it likely that this is not a logo of Microsoft itself.
