Microsoft announces Smite and Goat Simulator for Xbox One

During a press conference prior to Gamescom, Microsoft announced that the pc games Smite and Goat Simulator for the Xbox One appear. Both games are part of the ID@Xbox program, which Microsoft indiegames to his console wants to get.

Because both Smite as Goat Simulator is now a part of the ID@Xbox program, appear in both games first for the Xbox One and probably only then for the PlayStation 4.

Smite is a moba game that is in march on the market appeared as a free playable Windows game. Developer Hi-Rez Studios takes with the game in on the success of well-known moba games like Dota 2 and League of Legends. Neither of the two is, however, a desk version has been announced. Smite is, however, not the first moba game for consoles appears. Publisher Warner Bros. tried it in 2012 already with Guardians of Middle-Earth, but had little success with the on The Lord of The Rings-based game.

Goat Simulator is a game that earlier this year, for Windows, OS X, and Linux. Despite the term ‘Simulator’ in the title, the game is far from serious; players walk as a goat through the world, with the aim of as much damage as possible to the target. The game is made by the Swedish Coffee Stain Studios.
