Lenovo, the fourth largest smartphonefabrikant in the world, has a new top model, is presented. The Chinese manufacturer has in its Vibe Z2 Pro with 6″screen, which is 7.7 mm thin, a large battery with a capacity of 4000mAh.

This gives the battery a higher capacity than comparable models from other manufacturers, who often have batteries with a capacity of 3000mAh and 3500mAh. The larger battery does not seem to have led to a thicker device: the metal smartphone is to measure 7.7 mm in thickness. About 78 percent of the front is screen; the LG G3 is that around 75 percent, the Samsung Galaxy S5 remains around 70 percent and the iPhone 5s is that around 61 percent.

The phone has a 6″screen with unknown resolution, though GSMArena claims that it is going to 2560×1440 pixels. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, the same soc as many of the recent flagship models from other manufacturers like the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8), LG G3, OnePlus One and Sony Xperia Z2.

In contrast to many western models, the Vibe Z2 Pro space for two sim cards. The one gives access only to 2g, while the other also 3g and 4g can handle. The Snapdragon 801-soc has built-in support for dualsim. The device has a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and runs on Android 4.4 with Lenovo’s own skin.

Lenovo is now thanks to the high sales in China to the largest smartphonemakers in the world: the need according to several research firms, only Samsung, Apple and Huawei are violated, but does sell more devices than competitors like LG, Sony, HTC and Xiaomi.
