BlackBerry brings next week messenger app for Windows Phone

BlackBerry comes next week with a Windows Phone app of its messaging service BlackBerry Messenger. That made the Canadian company Friday known. Previously there were versions for Android and iOS.

BlackBerry says the app the past few weeks have been tested and that it is now good enough to be deployed to the general public. In the first instance, will BlackBerry Messenger, or BBM, for Windows Phone contain three elements: a tab with contacts, a chat and a feed.

Matthew Talbot of BlackBerry writes in his blog post that in the coming months more features for the application to be released. It includes the beldienst BBM Voice and Channels, allowing users to chatkanalen can create. Also is it possible to locations via BBM to share.

The BBM app has been around since last year, available for Android and iOS. With Windows Phone serves the Canadian manufacturer, virtually all of the major platforms. BlackBerry Messenger, now the chatsofware cross-platform is to obtain, to compete against many competitors, such as WhatsApp, Google Hangouts and Facebook Messenger.
