Samsung has Monday, the Galaxy Ace 4 announced. The Ace 4 is the successor of the popular Ace 3 features a dual-core processor with clock speed up to 1.2 GHz and runs by default on Android 4.4.
Furthermore, the Ace 4 has a 4″tft-display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, internal memory of 1GB and a battery with capacity of 1800mAh. The storage space of the Ace 4 is 4GB and is expandable with a micro sd card of up to 64GB. Consumers can also choose to use a variant of buying the phone that only supports 3g. This variant has, however, a processor with lower clock speed to 1GHz, 512MB of internal memory, and a battery with a capacity of 1500mAh. Samsung late Tweakers know that the Ace is 4 in August will be available in the Netherlands for 219 euro.
In addition, Samsung also with the Galaxy Core II, Galaxy Young 2 and Galaxy Star 2. All four of the new devices are, according to Samsung focused on consumers with a limited budget.
The Galaxy Core II features a 4.5″tft display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, a processor with clock speed up to 1.2 GHz and a battery with capacity of 2000mAh. The internal memory of the phone is 768MB and by default, the Core II only 4GB of storage. However, this is expandable with a micro sd card of up to 64GB. In addition, device features a 5-megapixel camera and runs on Android 4.4. In the Core II is also room for two sim cards. To connect with mobile networks the smartphone is hspa+. The Galaxy Core II will from August be available in the Netherlands for 179 euro.
The Galaxy Young 2 features a 3.5″tft-display with a resolution of 480×320 pixels and a 3 megapixel camera. The phone uses 3g to connect to mobile networks, and features a battery with a capacity of 1300mAh. In addition, the Young 2 has a processor with a clock speed of up to 1GHz, internal memory of 512MB and 4GB of storage. This is expandable with a micro sd card of up to 32GB. The Young 2 is also from August in the Dutch shops and carries a suggested retail price of 99 euros.
The Galaxy Star 2 has a 3.5″tft-display with a resolution of 480×320 pixels and can only connect to gsm networks. The processor has clock speed to 1.0 GHz and features 512MB of internal memory. The storage is 4GB and is expandable with a micro sd card of up to 32GB. The battery of the Star 2 has a capacity of 1300mAh. Samsung has let us know that the Star 2 does not come to the Netherlands.
