Microsoft has accidentally confirmed that it works, or has worked, to a Surface Mini. The tablet was by the technologiegigant mentioned in the user manual of the Surface Pro 3, which was recently announced. Earlier rumors reported that the Surface Mini was cancelled.

Microsoft expert Paul Thurrott discovered the references to the Surface Mini in the user manual for the Surface Pro 3 and reported his discovery on Twitter. In the conscious guide, offline seems to be reached, except for the Surface Pro 3 a couple of times mention of the Surface Mini. This supports earlier rumors, which pointed out that Microsoft was planning to the both tablets at the same time to announce it. The company from Redmond has, despite the persistent rumors, never wanting to confirm that it was a Surface Mini in development.

Reason for the lack of an announcement for the Surface Mini would be that Microsoft is of the opinion that the tablet is not distinctive enough. Therefore, it is still unclear whether the references in the user manual for the Surface Pro 3 mean that the mini-tablet at a later date will appear, or that it is a carelessness that Microsoft has forgotten to brush away.

The Surface Pro 3 by Microsoft last month announced. The tablet features a 12″touchscreen and is available with a Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processor. For the cheapest model is 819 euro is requested. This has 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage.
