First big Elder Scrolls Online-update coming this week

The first major Elder Scrolls Online update, called Craglorn, is coming Thursday or Friday. That Paul Sage, creative director of ESO, announced in an interview with the English department of IGN.

The update gives players access to Craglorn, the first adventure zone of the game. This so-called adventure zones are areas within the game, specially designed for players who have the maximum level reached. The new areas that players can explore within Craglorn are designed for groups of four persons and offer access to new quests, weapons and armor. Also brings the update is a new game mode: Trials. In these trials a group of twelve together to a computer-controlled character or group of characters to beat. Craglorn was on may 5, had already been added to the interactive map of Tamriel.

Sage leaves at IGN know that Zenimax, the studio behind ESO, still hopes every four to six weeks, a major update for the game. The second major update will be a new dungeon entail. As soon as the update Craglorn contains made, expected Sage that the ‘Crypt of Hearts’-dungeon will be available in the public test server.

At the beginning of may it became known that the console version of The Elder Scrolls Online six months later than originally planned. Players of the mmog on the PlayStation would not have PS Plus required for the game to be able to play, while the Xbox version only works with Gold.
