Software developer Corel has released version 2 of his fotobeheerprogramma AfterShot Pro released, including a 64bit edition. The new version of AfterShot will need to compete with other Adobe Lightroom.
The first versions of AfterShot had to provide a counterweight to packages such as Adobe Lightroom and Aperture from Apple, but Corel did not succeed in to a seriously to capture market share with its fotobeheerprogramma. AfterShot Pro 2.0 venture again an attempt, and Corel offers in this release include support for a larger number of raw formats. In addition, the package is now available in 64bit, so photo editing and management can take advantage of more ram.
AfterShot 2.0 is now also available in 64bit on Linux, as well as on Windows and OS X. The fotobeheerprogramma is, according to Corel to 30 percent faster than the previous versions. Also has the package of an improved antiruisfilter of the company Athentech and AfterShot can thirty more different raw-formats to read.
The Windows version of AfterShot 2.0 provides a number of specific functions for hdr photography. This will be later this summer, also in the Linux and OS X versions have been implemented. AfterShot 2.0, 70 euro charge, all users of the 1.x release or a competitive package an offer for an upgrade.
