Microsoft has its search engine Bing extended with the option to on the basis of images to find similar images. With Image Match can a user upload an image to the search engine, or a link to the file on the internet to enter.
The service, which is similar to the Search by Image feature that Google in 2011 introduced, searches the internet and shows all the images that resemble the original. In the search results, the user can press a button for an overview of the different sizes of images that are found. For example it is possible to Bing to search for a larger version of an image that the user already had.
In the search results of the normal Picture-search engine will be Bing now also an overview showing the different versions in which a picture is available. The new functionality is currently being rolled out by Microsoft.
