Fractal Design has a new micro-atx case with striking interior released. The small enclosure consists of two compartments for efficient lwa nte koelingsmogelijkheden; the layout ensures that hittegenererende parts are separated from cooler parts.
The front panel of the Node 804 is a simple black and brushed aluminium surface, while two usb 3.0 ports, the audio interfaces and the optical drive in the side of the front panel are processed. Inside it is notable that the micro-atx case is divided in two, separated by a wall on which the motherboard is attached. In one part the power supply and the disks are placed, while in the other the motherboard, the video card and the cpu is efficiently kept cool can be.
Fractal Design offers three Series R2 120mm fans and a fan controller, which the user can expand with up to seven other fans. All inlets can be of removable dust filters. In addition, there is space for two radiators: 240mm-model and a 280mm version. In the small cabinet to fit further eight 3.5-inch hdds and four 2.5″storage devices or ten 3.5-inch drives with two 2.5″drives.
The housing measures 370x307x412mm and to the side of the window is present for a view of the inside. The Node 804 comes in may be available for 100 euro.
