Dark Souls 2 comes out on april 25 for Windows. Pre-orders of the game will be rewarded with the ‘Black Armour Edition’ of the game, which consists of a metal case, the soundtrack of the game, and in-game bonuses.

Mathieu Piau, head of marketing for Namco Bandai Europe, has stated that the game is optimized for pc’s. “Gamers that the Windows version of the game play, higher resolution textures, good support for mouse & keyboard and enhanced frame rate options to wait.” These are aspects where, in the past by players of the first Dark Souls for Windows still complained.

The Steam pre-order of the game contains the soundtrack and in-game bonuses that the retail version has, and in addition, a digital artbook and comic. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game to arrive on 14 march. The retail version of Dark Souls 2 activates on Steam and the game is immediately pre-order in the digital store Valve.
