All of the planned dlc for the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham Origins will be deleted. Existing dlc will not be removed, but future expansion if additional missions for the singeplayer mode will not come out for Nintendo’s console.

People who are for the Wii U version of the Batman game have a season pass had bought, get their purchase price back in the form of credit for Nintendo’s eShop. A representative of the publisher Warner Brothers stated that the decision to allow for future extensions are not for this system, based “on the question of dlc for the Wii U version of the game.” With that statement of the adviser to, among others, gamingwebsite VG247, insinuates that the demand and thereby the sales of the Batman game for the Wii U is disappointing.

The Wii U version of Arkham Origins will get criticized in reviews. From an extensive review of Eurogamer reveals that the game has lots of problems with the framerate. Also is the multiplayer mode that other platforms do have, are not present. The Playstation 3, Windows and Xbox 360 versions of the game get all the dlc. This is not the first case in which the Wii U out in the cold left is what dlc is concerned. So in late 2013 also announced that the dlc for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag for the Wii U would appear.
