The Dutch and Belgians are usually more money for triple-play packages with internet, tv and telephony than residents of surrounding countries. This is evident from an inventory of the rates by the Belgian regulator, Bipt.

The mediaanprijs for a package for fixed telephony, tv and internet with a minimum download speed of 30Mbit/s is in the Netherlands around 60 euros, in Belgium, is that even 76 euro. That is a lot more than the French have lost for the same services: pay at an average package of around 36 euro, Germans, 44 euro. Spain is more expensive, with a mediaanprijs of around 97 euro for the same package.

The Belgian regulator, Bipt, that the figures published as research into the rates in your own country, based on research of the economic union, OECD, August of last year. In the Netherlands are KPN, Tele2, Ziggo and UPC in the research included, in Belgium are Belgacom, Numericable, Telenet and Voo.

From the study, which also went on rates for mobile services, suggests that the price which the Belgians have to pay for phone calls and mobile internet on the decline. Belgium is cheaper than for example the Netherlands. In both countries, only the prices of major carriers are included, while that of low-cost carriers are missing. In the Netherlands choose to understand more and more people for a subscription with a prize fighter.
