Huawei is coming with a smartwatch and two tablets

The Chinese telecommunications company Huawei unveils soon to be its own smartwatch. Hence the company, among others, the competition with Sony and Samsung. In addition, soon a new smartphone and two tablets shown.

The Wall Street Journal reports the news based on sources within Huawei. The Chinese company is planning for the smartwatch, smartphone and tablets to reveal at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 24 February. It will be the first smartwatch from the Chinese company. Huawei wanted to give any other details about the reveal products.

One of the tablets that will be shown is likely to be the Huawei Mediapad X1 7.0, which earlier this month already has been written. The new smartphone is not the successor of the current flagship model, the Ascend P6. Huawei wants to reveal at a private event later in 2014.

Except with smartphones, smartwatch and tablets wants Huawei to take on the competition on the market of Android consoles. The company has plans to set up a Ouya competitor called Tron on the market, also later in 2014.

Also the Chinese ZTE is working on a smartwatch, which this year should come true.
