The photos show the successor great phone Huawei Ascend Mate

Tech blog’s Engadget has photos published of the successor of the Huawei Ascend Mate. The phone shares many characteristics with its predecessor, including the 6.1″screen, but is in appearance, however, something changed.

The phone is slightly less large than its predecessor, as is to make from the photos that Engadget has published. The smartphone has a 13MP camera at the back, where the current Extent to an 8MP camera. The photos give no information about the capacity of the battery. The Ascend Mate has thanks to its large 4050mAh battery a long life.

The Mate 2 on the pictures is a little shorter, but about as wide as the current Extent. He has, according to Engadget the same 6,1″screen with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It probably goes back to an ips-lcd.

The Mate 2 runs on an unnamed quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz. Supposedly it goes to a private processor of Huawei, such as which is now also in the Degree. The phone will get a storage memory of 16GB.

Huawei announces the device presumably to on the consumer electronics show CES, which next week begins in Las Vegas. There is the manufacturer, probably also with a faster version of its Ascend P6.
