The largest contribution in the second round came from investor Andreessen Horowitz. Marc Andreessen, founder of Netscape and the driving force behind the investment fund, member of the supervisory board of Oculus VR. The company behind Oculus Rift wants to use the money for a consumer version of the vr headset on the market. Oculus has not yet announced when the consumer version of the headset on the market and what that will cost.
