The creators behind Winamp, have announced the development to stop. The music player can have up to 20 december the site will be downloaded, after which it to black. Winamp is now 15 years old.
The news about the stop of the Winamp software by the makers through the official website announced. A reason behind the stop of the development, however, was not mentioned. Until 20 december, the website is still available, which means that after this date, the music player no longer through the official channels can be downloaded. Nullsoft, developer of the music player and property of AOL, advises users to before december 20, the most recent version of Winamp to download.

Winamp is a small 15 years of age and was for many years a popular music player for the Windows platform.
