Synology put RackStation RS214 2-bay nas server on the market

Synology has the RackStation RS214 announced, a rack-mount storage system according to the manufacturer, particularly suitable for small businesses. The nas server offers up to two drive bays and would write speeds up to 70MB/s can achieve.

The Synology RackStation RS214 is a 1U-rackgemonteerde nas with a depth of 12″. The nas has a singlecore 1.2 GHz processor with hardware encryption, and a floating point unit. There is 512MB of ddr3 memory is present. In the two drive bays can be 2.5″- or 3.5″-drives will be placed, good for up to 8TB of gross storage.
