Rumor: LG Vu III will receive Snapdragon 800-soc and 5.2″screen

LG would be working on a successor of the Vu and Vu II. The new device, with indication Vu III, would allegedly be based on the high-end Snapdragon 800-soc from Qualcomm and a 5.2″screen. The device is characterized again by the relatively square proportions.

Information about the Vu III appeared on the Korean site Asia Economic, that speaks about a unit of 5,2″ with a resolution of 1280×960 pixels. Thus, the resolution is lower than other high-end devices with a large screen, usually have it on 1920×1080 pixels, although it is a 16:9 ratio. The screen of the Vu III is distinguished because it is much wider than usual for a smartphone: the screen ratio is 4:3, typical for the Vu series from LG.
