HTC starts with Dutch roll out Android 4.2 update for One X

HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 update with Sense 5 for the One X in the Netherlands and Belgium lwa. Users log on to GoT they the update Monday morning over-the-air offer. The update is almost 380MB in size.

The update is both for the One X as the later version of One X+. The update is Monday morning started for Dutch and Belgian users, in some other countries the update is already longer available. Users can manually in the Settings menu, verify that the update is there.

The phone will get the update also Sense 5, the phone’s interface. Also, homescreen-interface, BlinkFeed available, already put HTC that is not standard. Under the main menu, the font, the appearance of menus and icons have changed, compared to before the update. Also there are toggles in the notificatiemenu.

For the One X is the the second big update: the phone came from Android 4.0, and got in last autumn, an update to 4.1. The One X+ will this be the first major update. Users of a One’s can not update to look forward to: HTC has decided not to update to roll out, because the development for the One S too complicated. In addition, there are multiple versions of the One S with processors on different micro-architectures, in which the development would take longer.
