The French intelligence service DGSE has, according to a French newspaper in the biggest secret a afluisterprogramma set up that many similarities with the Prism program. Data would be collected through fiber connections, satellites and afluisterstations.

Reports that the French newspaper Le Monde. The huge database would be stored at the headquarters of the DGSE in Paris. The size of the database would be on that of the British secret service GCHQ following the largest in Europe.

The DAY would metadata collecting e-mails, faxes, phone calls and internet traffic. This metadata would be accessible to other French secret services, such as the domestic intelligence service DRCI and the military organisation DRM.
