Microsoft and Oracle announce partnership

Microsoft and Oracle are going to work together so that all Oracle software is available for Windows Server Hyper-V and Windows Azure. Customers who have the software of Oracle running on the Windows platforms, with full support from Oracle.

Oracle will the Oracle software certification and support for Windows Server Hyper-V systems offer. This includes Java, Oracle Database and Oracle WebLogic Server. According to Oracle president Mark Hurd, the company wants its customers more choice and flexibility by software for various platforms.
