SimCity gets on may 28, new dlc, as developer Maxis confirmed. The contentpakket the name is Amusement Park Pack, and offers the possibility to amusement parks with various attractions such as a ferris wheel, to roll out.
The advent of the Amusement Park Pack was leaked via gamewebshop Green Man Gaming, that soon by EA on the fingers was tapped and the screenshots deleted. Developer Maxis has the dlc then, however, confirmed on Twitter. “Some of you may have the new SimCity content already seen, that prematurely appeared”, writes Maxis. “He comes out on the 28th of may. We think that you are amused.”
Players get the opportunity to get their own amusement park in their town to be built. They can choose from classic attractions such as a merry-go-round, but also from the thrill rides, such as roller coasters, schommelboten and go karting at the tracks. The dlc offers a lot of bouwmogelijkheden for the amusement parks, and gives players the option to earn money from visitors and local economies a push in the back. Maxis still has no price for the dlc announced.
