AMD would plan to use the new generation of Radeon graphics cards to deliver sometime around the release date of Battlefield 4. AMD is a hardware partner of EA for Battlefield 4 and would the introduction of the game want to use it as a marketing stunt for the new cards.

It would go on the still unannounced ‘Volcanic Islands’graphics cards, according to SweClockers. Earlier this month came rumors about the new batch of video cards from AMD, whose flagship, codenamed Hawaii has been given.

According to those rumors was that the new high-end gpu from AMD on 20nm can be produced, and in addition to parallel also serial processor cores. The gpu would be about 4096 streamprocessors, 16 serial processor cores, 4 geometry engines, 256 tmu and 64 rops.

The release date of Battlefield 4 is scheduled on October 31. TSMC would plan to have at the end of this year to begin mass production on 20nm. According to Xbitlabs would TSMC are ahead of the schedule. If those rumors are correct, there is a possibility that AMD at the end of October 20nm gpu’s announced, though it seems that chance is small.
