AMD has a new series of working memory ge lwa site aimed at gamers. The geheugenreepjes according to AMD, designed for lowest latency and get the name Radeon RG2133.

As the name suggests running the ram at 2133MHz and latency of the modules is 10-11-11-30, at a voltage of 1.65 volts. Just like the previous one, by AMD released ram, the low-profile modules with a height of 30mm, which can be useful in combination with large cpu coolers.

AMD indicates that the ram is intended for both a pc with a Intel and a AMD processor. In particular the pcs with an AMD apu like Trinity or Richland-model would take advantage of the new ram since the gpu of the apu’s benefit from the highest possible memory bandwidth. It should also be noted that Intel with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge have a voltage of 1.5 V recommends.

The werkgeugen is only available in a 16GB kit that consists of four strips of 4GB, Radeon memory in 16GB kits are sold with two 8GB strips. AMD outsources production and has announced that it is the same manufacturer will continue as with other memory products, which would mean that the memory is manufactured by Patriot, reports AnandTech. The memory 155 dollar costs, though it is unclear whether the Radeon memory also in the Netherlands is going to be sold. Although in 2012, news reports appeared that AMD is a distributor in the Benelux was found, seems to be the memory here, not in significant numbers on the market.

The introduction means that AMD still bread looks in the geheugenmarkt, a market that the company at the end of 2011 entered. The market for ram for the last two years have significantly shrunk. According to IHS iSuppli, is that mainly due to the ailing pc market where dram manufacturers depend. Expect the market analyst this year, a small growth.
