Smaller iMac also be ordered in combination with ssd

From now on 21,5″-iMacs with a ssd of 256 or 512 gigabytes will be ordered. Until now, only the 27″-iMac in combination with a 768GB ssd to be ordered. Also the 27″-iMac in combination with the smaller ssds are ordered.

Up to now the 21.5″-iMacs only be supplied in combination with a relatively slow 5400rpm-sata-disk, or a fusion drive, Apple’s brand name for a traditional hard drive with an ssd as a cache. Without publicity, those capabilities expanded. The 21.5″-iMac can now also be used in combination with a ssd of 256 or 512 gigabytes will be delivered. There must be, respectively, 300 or 600 euros to pay extra.

The 27″-iMac could already with an ssd to be delivered, but could only be chosen for a ssd 768 gb where 900 euros had to be deposited. As of now, the 27″-iMac in combination with a 256GB or 512GB ssd are supplied with a 300 or 600 euro have to pay extra. Ssds, which use flash memory, are much faster than hard drives.
