The Taiwanese hardware manufacturer Silverstone has a new series processorkoelers released. The Argon-series to be suitable for the entry – level to mid-market and will be in three versions available.

The entry-level model of the new Argon series AR01: this cooler has a base with three copper heatpipes that are in direct contact with the processor. The 8mm heatpipes carry heat to the aluminiumkoelribben: the cooling tower is 50mm deep and 159mm high. The cooler weighs, without fan, 450 grams and is suitable for all current sockets from AMD and Intel. Silverstone delivers a blue 120mm fan that is 16.4 to 33.5 dBA of noise produces a rotational speed of 1000 to 2200rpm. The cooler will cost 27,50 and is from the 24th of april available.

The AR02 is a slightly smaller cooler in the Argon-series and will also be three direct-contact heatpipes, 6mm in diameter, supplied. Also the supplied cooler with 92mm diameter smaller and the cooler, of course, is also lower: the height is 134mm, while the depth with 50mm remains unchanged. The ar20 retirement is a 92mm cooler with 1200 to 2800rpm runs and 16 to 24dba special produces. The cooler cost, once again from april 24, 22,50.

The top model of the series is the AR03, and is with the same 120mm fan as the AR01 supplied. The cooling tower is, however, wide enough for a 140mm cooler mounted and is 159mm high and 50mm deep. The AR03 has six heatpipes 6mm in diameter, which is the same as the other Argon coolers in direct contact with the processor. The cooler weighs 560 grams, and it goes from april 24 to 40 euro cost.
