The delay that Rayman: Legends for strategic reasons, has suffered, gives the game extra content. Lead developer Michel Ancel of Ubisoft Montpellier has announced that thirty extra levels and more bosses in the game to be processed.

In an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine went Ancel and senior game manager Michael Micholic in on the delay that Rayman: Legends is incurred. Ancel and Micholic stated opposite the magazine, the anger of the fans is easy to understand and also not happy with the situation, but promised that the extra time in a useful way is spent. Rayman: Legends would be provided with thirty extra levels and several new boss fights.

Ancel and his team, expressed in February publicly their dissatisfaction after the management at Ubisoft decided that the game postponed had to be. Rayman: Legends was scheduled for a release on February 28th for the Nintendo Wii U and later on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are released. Ubisoft, however, ruled that the wiser choice would be to have the three versions simultaneously in the shops. For that reason, the already finished Wii U version pushed to september.
