Nokia ‘cheapest Lumia’ in the Netherlands for 179 euro

Nokia brings its ‘cheapest Lumia device next month in the Netherlands for a suggested retail price of 179 euros. The phone will also be in a prepaid package to purchase, but it is not yet clear how high the price then goes down.

The second cheapest Windows Phone from Nokia, the Lumia 620, currently costs around 230 euros, 50 euros more than what the Lumia 520 in may will come true. Usually offer retailers a phone slightly below the suggested retail price, which he in reality probably around 160 or 170 euros will cost.

The 520 and 620 share many characteristics: both run on Windows Phone 8 and have a screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The more expensive 620 has a ClearBlack display, where the 520 is not. The camera has the same maximum resolution of five megapixels, while video can be recorded at 720p with 30fps. The processor is also the same: a Qualcomm S4 Plus MSM8227, dual-core processor with Krait cores and a maximum clock speed of 1GHz. The working memory has a size of 512MB, the storage memory is 8GB large. Nokia presented the Lumia 520 a month and a half ago during telecombeurs Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
