Minecraft creator makes free game Drop

Markus ‘Notch’ Persson, the developer of Minecraft, the free game Drop released. It is a game in which as soon as possible letters typed should be a high as possible score. The game is made with the Unity game engine.

Markus Persson announced the release of Drop via Twitter. It is a simple webgame in which the game indicates which letters the player had to type in. The pace in which the characters typed in should be increases to the extent the player more comfortable. Drop is an attempt from Persson, the creator and programmer of Minecraft, to with the Unity game engine to learn to work. The game play is the Unity web plugin needed. Persson has earlier games created in which the type of text is paramount.

Persson gave earlier this month that he was in a creative impasse wrong. He tries the development of 0x10c to complete, the proposed successor of Minecraft. Due to a lack of inspiration, he has the game, however, been postponed until further notice. Persson, better known by his nickname Notch, has more projects to hands. In February came out that he also is involved in the development of Age of Wonders III, the new rpg from the Dutch Triumph Studios. Persson occurs as a financier, so Triumph Studios, the game can create without interference from a publisher.
