Epic put the html5-version of Unreal Engine 3-demo online

Epic and Mozilla have the html5 version of the Unreal 3 engine was put online. The engine, written in Javascript and WebGL, shows the folder, Epic Citadel, the Unreal-games in the browsers. The user can by the folder run.

There is not yet the functionality of the game: the demo is only meant to show that in the browser’s advanced graphics can be played. The demo works best with Firefox 23 Nightly, as is on the demo site. The demo seems not to work in other browsers.

The porting of the engine to Javascript and WebGL, it took four days, says Epic. It is unclear whether there are also plans to have all games in Javascript and WebGL, and is playable via browsers, but the software needed would in any case soon be released. Mozilla is working on a technology to games from Steam in the browser to be able to stream. The Unreal engine is one of the best engines for games.
